Motorola SL4000
The Motorola SL4000e provides digital two way radio for the mobile generation. Combining the look and feel of a small mobile telephone with the advanced communications features of Motorola’s groundbreaking MOTOTRBO digital technology, this super compact handset delivers exceptional performance in pocket size. Featuring a five line colour display with menu navigation button and 12 key number pad, this slimline handset fits naturally in the hand for comfortable and convenient use and weighs just 154g. Despite its small size, the SL4000e benefits from high output power which boosts performance and helps to guarantee audio clarity. Premium call quality is also assured by Motorola’s advanced SINC+ noise cancellation system, which digitally removes background interference from the signal, plus intelligent automatic volume control. Designed for use in any kind of large industrial or commercial facility, the SL4000e operates on the UHF frequency band, making it well suited for communications in factory complexes, warehouses, shopping centres and office buildings. This versatile model comes with an impressive range of safety features, providing reassurance to users that, in the event of an emergency, they can rely on their two way radio to issue an alert. It comes programmed with a dedicated Emergency Button delivering a one touch channel override, a Man Down accelerometer which issues an alert if it detects a fall, and the Lone Worker monitoring feature. The SL4000e boasts enhanced voice and data integration, with built-in WiFi allowing all firmware updates on the handset to be carried out automatically. It also comes with in-built Bluetooth 4.0, allowing users to connect wireless accessories like headsets or earpieces, or even to operate indoor location tracking when paired with Bluetooth beacons. Like some of its larger MOTOTRBO cousins, the SL4000e is perfect for running and coordinating communications amongst large teams. With up to 1000 digital channels available, users are always likely to find a free channel to make a call on. Work order ticketing and message dispatch allow coordinators to allocate tasks and relay messages between different groups. The 280-character screen allows you to write and send text messages when it is isn’t convenient to make a call and it will even connect to a phone system. A Text-to-Speech feature reads out text messages so you don’t miss messages when your hands are full with work. Completing the familiar feel of a mobile handset, the screen also allows you to scroll through you contact directories to make private calls and there is a vibration alert for when you receive a call.
